Deleting your account
Close your account when you want — export first, confirm, and there is a short grace period.
You can close your account whenever you like. Open Settings, then Delete account.
RiteBinder nudges you to export first (see "Exporting your data"), then asks you to type your business name to confirm, so there is no accidental tap.
Deleting schedules your account and its data for permanent removal about a week out — a grace period in case you change your mind. Sign back in before that date and tap Restore to undo it.
Once the grace period passes, your content is removed within about a month. A few records the law requires us to keep — for tax — stay only as long as we must, and backups age out on their own after that.
On a Studio team but not the owner? Deleting your account simply removes you from the teams you are on; the business stays with its owner.
Still stuck? Email help@ritebinder.com and a real person answers, usually within one business day.
